Why we started The Disciple Life

Samantha and I were sitting on the back porch one summer evening when she said something I couldn't shake: 'Most of the Christian content we consume is just self-help with a Bible verse on top.' She was right. The Disciple Life began as a single email newsletter we sent to twelve friends. Five years later, it's a small ministry built around one stubborn conviction — that ordinary Christians are hungry for slow, scriptural writing that takes them seriously.
